Alphabet Releases Screenless Google Glass

The tech giant releases a screenless gadget under Project Aura, which will be based on artificial intelligence to communicate with the user by replying in ears through headphones.

Alphabet has been working on Google Glass for some time now. Recently, the company informed the tech geeks and analysts in the industry of the new design that is going to be incorporated in the wearable device, which is meant to bring out more attention and interest of customers towards the device, which was previously not received as well as expected. The tech giant also put a hold on the project when things did not turn out how they were meant to be, but now the giant is coming back with a bang with the same project but with a different name.

The new ‘Project Aura’ that is the new redefined version of Google Glass is reportedly working on three different gadgets which will also be wearable. However, out of the three, one will be designed without the existence of a display screen. Reports have also suggested that the company wishes to put most of its focus of the devices towards attracting people from the enterprise business and has observed some exciting new changes within the operating system as well.

The bigger attention towards businesses and relatively lesser attention to the general customers might attract some potentially great customers towards the wearable devices, if only they prove worthy in providing ease to the customers in the first place.

This time around, Alphabet developers are not focusing only on how the device looks, but it is also working on how it works. Two of the devices will be given a screen while the third one will be released without it. The ones with the screens are expected to be just like the Explorer Edition, but the screenless one is the device to excite the people most, as it will be entirely based on audio instead of anything for the visuals.

The idea that will be used by the company is going to be of the bone conduction, which help sound waves to travel to the inside part of the ear through the bones. The critics have deemed this concept harmless, as it does not bring any change to or affect the human body activities in any way. This device has been called as the ‘headphones worn on your face’ and it will work in an interesting manner, in which it will be replying to the commands and demands of the user by simply answering in his or her ears. Through this method, the organization will also be reaching out to visually impaired individuals who can use this technology without feeling left behind.
